This annual 5K race attracts over 500 finishers each year who compete in 28 age and gender groups. Runners can pre-register for $20 per person ($15 for students K-12) if postmarked by August 27, 2010. The pre-registration fee includes a race T-shirt and registration for door prizes. Registration forms may be picked up at any of the Kettering Sports Medicine Center sites or by calling 937-669-5757. Also registration may be done online at http://www.active.com/running/kettering-oh/holiday-at-home-5k-2010. Same day registration hours are 6:15 AM to 7:45 AM at Kettering Sports Medicine Center on Far Hills Avenue. Race packets for those who pre-register may be picked up the morning of the race. To avoid the race day rush, pre-registered runners may pick up packets the Sunday before the race from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Kettering Sports Medicine Center.
Runners may park at Fairmont High School off Shroyer Road on race day. A pancake breakfast is available to all runners after the race at the Fairmont High School cafeteria – must show race bib number for the breakfast.
